4. Performance matters & nothing else

There is actually no shortcut to hard work.  Smart work is the better way of getting your things done and hence a part of hard work that you will put into your planning & executing skills. There are a lot of shortcuts available, people do use them, get successful, rise up the ladders. But don’t fall in that trap. At the end of the day, it is that long road towards smart and hard work that you need to do to prove that you are a consistent performer.
